Truly, you can only plant a seed, she has to come to terms with her own choices. And I’m speaking as a mother of an adult with autism that I only learned about Kerri’s book here in this group. I’m reading it, and taking notes for the things I’m not doing/haven’t done to help my son make some gains but hopefully recover him from this horrible isolation he’s suffered through for 25+ years. I can’t imagine being trapped inside myself, and not having some connections in this world, how lonely it must be.
